Tsigiro—a Shona word meaning support or backing—is a pan-African supporter for mission-driven organisations, based in Harare, Zimbabwe.
We work exclusively with NGOs, civil society organisations, community-based organisations, trusts and networks. We understand the pressure of donor reporting cycles, audit readiness, compliance obligations and lean staffing between funding rounds.
We began with back-office support. Today, our role goes further: run operations when you need us to, strengthen your own teams, help demonstrate your readiness to funders, and equip you with technology that fits your work.

We are developing a standardised alternative to repeated funder assessments. Our framework draws on the requirements of multilateral and bilateral donors, foundations and other funders, alongside sector best practice.

How we deliver

Every engagement starts with a discovery call to understand your organisation, its current capacity and its needs. Choose an Associate and Apprentice together, an Associate only to accompany your own team, or an Apprentice only for routine support. Take one function or several.
Senior expertise
Experienced, qualified specialists provide expert input, financial reports and budgets, oversight, quality assurance and escalation support within each function.
Combined subscriptions include 8 Associate hours per month on Shared and 12 on Dedicated. Associate-only hours are agreed after discovery. Additional hours are billed separately when requested.
Everyday capacity
Students, recent graduates and early-career professionals handle processing, record-keeping, reporting and follow-up under close supervision and Tsigiro standards. An Apprentice serves one Dedicated client or a maximum of five Shared clients.
Delivery is virtual by default, keeping support accessible and affordable.
